Asif Iqbal as special guest at GG2 Leadership Award 2015

As a former winner, Asif Iqbal was invited to join a prestigious GG2 Leadership Award 2015 which was held at Westminster Plaza Hotel on Wednesday 21st October 2015.

The GG2 Leadership Awards recognise and reward high achievers within ethnic minorities and celebrate the very best of multicultural Britain.

The evening invited a myriad of British Asian and non-Asian personalities to celebrate Asian success in all sectors of society. Guests included Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt, Chair UK India Business Council, Rt Hon Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Saqid Khan, Labour’s candidate for the London Mayor, Simon Woolley, Director of Operation of Black Vote, Air Marshal sir Baz North, Deputy Commander Capability and Air Member for Personnel and Capability Royal Air Force.

Of the high profile guests and senior politicians attending was The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice opened the event.

Rt Hon David Cameron, Prime Minister 2015 sent his words of support on the occasion of the 2015 GG2 Leadership Award Ceremony:

In 2013, Asif was awarded with a GG2’s Achievement Through Adversity Award 2013 at a glitzy awards ceremony organised by organisers GG2 Leadership with a former Deputy Prime Minister Rt Hon Nick Clegg in attendance.
