About Richard France, Author of The Book of the Failed Jumper
Richard has written from an early age, winning his first writing competition at the age of 10 and being published in the newspapers at 19. He said, “When people ask me if I learned sign language or spoken language first, I reply “none” because writing is my first true language I learnt.”
He will present his work at Harrow United Deaf Club on Saturday 5th November 2016 using a combination of BSL, spoken language, SSE and subtitles.
All fees will go towards Harrow United Deaf Club because Richard said, “I love the Deaf community! and we deserve a future!”
And we will be providing delicious snacks and holding a raffle draw with fabulous prizes!
