Harrow United Deaf Club is delighted to have one of their close partner, St.John’s Ambulance team at the International Festival which will take place on Saturday 4th June 2016 at Harrow Council Civic Centre from 4pm onward.
St. John’s Ambulance is supportive of HUDC’s work and will be holding a stall at the Festival, providing information on health and safety in the home and in the community; demonstrating using their dummies of how to carry out CPR resuscitation. This is a fantastic opportunity for children, adults and their families to learn more about safety and what to do in emergency situation when waiting for emergency services.
Asif Iqbal MBE, President of Harrow United Deaf Club said: “St.John’s Ambulance provide vital life-saving work and their services are run by volunteers. They also have opportunity for people to be trained and spreading messages on safety. We need to work together for better health, prevention, keeping our home and community safe.”
