Asad Ajaib, Committee Member of Harrow and Brent United Deaf Club announced at our Deaf Club’s Christmas Party (Saturday 1st December 2018), that Asad is stepping down from his Committee role after 5 years in services.
Harrow and Brent United Deaf Club would like to express their heartfelt thank you to Asad for his hard work in the last 5 years, especially as photographer and helping out in the background for the majority of our Deaf club events.
At the Christmas Party, Asif Iqbal, President and Nirjuan Kilington, Chairperson presented Asad with a thank you card and a gift voucher on behalf of the Deaf Club.
Asif said in his brief speech, how much he remembered Asad joining the Club at a young age and so shy. It is wonderful to see how he matured into a confident young man who gained most of his skills as a result of being involved as a Committee Member of our Club, helping out with various activities and enjoyed photography so much that he became our Club’s Photographer! We wish him all the best with his future.
